Role Overview

The Romesser Lab is recruiting a Postdoctoral Fellow to study therapy-induced senescence, tumor immunology, and translational cancer biology. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and lead NIH- and foundation-funded projects and work in a collaborative, technology-rich environment.

What You Will Do

Design, execute, optimize, and troubleshoot experiments across in vivo, ex vivo, and patient-derived model systems; integrate mechanistic and translational studies; analyze and interpret complex datasets; prepare manuscripts; present findings at scientific meetings.

Requirements

• PhD, MD/PhD, MD or equivalent doctoral degree in immunology, cancer biology, molecular biology, cell biology, computational biology, or a related field
• Strong record of scientific productivity, including first-author publications or clear evidence of major manuscript-level contributions
• Demonstrated ability to think critically, generate hypotheses, design experiments, troubleshoot, and interpret data
• Experience in at least one relevant area, such as tumor immunology, cancer biology, organoid systems, mouse models, senescence biology, cancer metabolism, CRISPR screening, single-cell/spatial biology, or computational biology
• Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for working in a collaborative translational research environment
