The Associate Athletic Director - Student-Athlete Success & Performance supports the holistic development of Menlo student-athletes by integrating physical performance, mental wellness, sports psychology, character development and academic success into a coordinated athletics experience.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience working in athletics, sports performance, student wellness, or a related educational setting.
- A Master's or Doctorate in counseling or sports performance psychology.
- Current or pending Certified Mental Performance Consultant certification under the Association of Applied Sport Psychology.
- Demonstrated ability to support student-athletes in a holistic way, including physical, emotional, and academic dimensions.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage multiple staff members and cross-functional priorities.
- Knowledge of athlete development, injury prevention, recovery practices, and performance programming.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with coaches, trainers, administrators, students, and families.
- Strong organizational and operational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives at once.
