Site Reliability Engineer Specialist

Role Overview

Responsible for availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning. Creates a bridge between development and operations by applying a software engineering mindset to system administration topics.

What You Will Do

Participate in architecture and R&D discussions, perform chaos engineering, push systems to their limits, use DevOps and GitOps practices, safeguard reliability, run game days, review designs, build monitoring systems, troubleshoot systems, mentor other engineers, and evolve SDLC.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Requires 6+ years of experience with programming, 4 years of experience with Unix/Linux systems internals and administration or networking, and experience in Public and Private Clouds, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, OpenShift, Kubernetes or AWS EKS.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business / Management Information Systems or related field
• 6+ years of experience with programming
• 4 years of experience with Unix/Linux systems internals and administration or networking
