Senior Test Technician

Role Overview

Mercury Systems seeks a Senior Test Technician to test and troubleshoot state-of-the-art, complex digital system assemblies in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. This position is for a seasoned individual contributor in the Test sub-family, working under limited supervision in routine and defined situations.

What You Will Do

Test and troubleshoot state-of-the-art complex digital system assemblies, perform functional test procedures, and verify PCB and system fit, form, and functionality.

Requirements

• Performs complex testing and moderate problem solving on digital systems and subassemblies
• Has solid understanding of manufacturing quality standards and can read schematics or other technical data as needed
• Ability to prepare complex test reports and data in accordance with functional and acceptance level test procedures
• Performs complex testing; Thermal, Shock, Vibration and Environmental Tests
• Troubleshoots and is able to determine root cause for issues with assemblies, debugging of moderate to complex problems
• Uses a variety of test equipment; including oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, serial emulators, networking devices, and other tools found in a testing laboratory
