COUNTRY COMMUNITY ACCOUNTABILITY AND REPORTING MECHANISM (CARM) AND SAFEGUARDING ADVISOR

Mercy Corps is seeking an experienced and skilled individual to lead the development and implementation of the country's communication strategy aimed at impact communications, influence as well as learning and knowledge management functions of the country portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Community Accountability Reporting Mechanism (CARM) and safeguarding design, setup, implementation, and adaptation in all projects and programs, including directly implemented activities and activities implemented in collaboration with partners.

Requirements

• BA/S or equivalent in social sciences, preferably with MAIS in similar relevant fields
• At least 5 years of related work experience, preferably with an international or local Non-Governmental Organization (NGO)
• At least 1-3 years of field-based experience in international relief/humanitarian and development
