Mercy Home for Children is hiring Direct Support Professionals to support people with disabilities in one of their Brooklyn Residences. The role requires a positive attitude, compassion, care, and enthusiasm. Paid training is offered and opportunities for career growth in the human services field are available.

Requirements

• Support people with disabilities through teaching self-help skills.
• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, cooking, etc.).
• Record daily activities and reports, including medical information.
• Maintain personal safety and welfare.
• Encourage communication and build relationships.
• Implement daily schedules.
