Engineering Manager (Fintech)

Role Overview

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead people and strengthen technology teams. You will oversee performance, make decisions to ensure quality and progress, and define strategies to meet deadlines.

Lead, motivate, and support the professional growth of engineers and technical team leads. Manage team performance, oversee technical quality, and identify technical debt.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience leading engineering teams of 8-10 or more people
• At least 5 years of solid software development experience
• Leadership competencies in mentoring and development, communication and feedback, performance management, and effective delegation
• Clear and direct communication skills
• Data-driven mindset
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Strong software engineering fundamentals
• Prior experience working with engineering performance metrics (e.g. DORA Metrics)
• Proactive approach to planning and prioritization
• Ability to translate business objectives into achievable technical commitments
• Results-oriented mindset
