Job description
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safety and proper functioning of building facilities, shows, rides, films, equipment, machines, alarms, etc. at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre in Tokyo. They will implement regular inspections, create and execute an internal inspection system, and conduct additional inspections as needed. The role requires a strong focus on health and safety, with a goal of maintaining the highest level of equipment and ensuring a safe working environment.
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for daily inspections of attraction/show-related equipment, implementing a consistent preventive maintenance program, and assisting in the management of new exhibit/ride projects. They will also assist in managing weekly, monthly, and annual inspections and tests of guest devices, conduct regular safety checks, and maintain mechanical and electrical control systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong ride maintenance knowledge, health and safety expertise, and experience in resource management. They will be able to work independently, make decisions, and take ownership of their work.
