Seamstress

MES is seeking a Seamstress that efficiently performs uniform sewing, alternations, and embellishments, including tapering shirts, adjusting waists, hemming trousers, placing zippers, adding pant stripes, applying patches, name strips, and stripes.

Requirements

• Read and accurately identify the customer's needs per the Work Order Instructions.
• Alter, repair, or customize uniforms according to customer specifications.
• Cut and sew garments following customer requirement
• Operate and maintain sewing machines, and other equipment.
• Use tools such as needles, thread, sewing machines
• Ensure all garments meet MES’s high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and adherence to customer specifications.
• Make adjustments as needed to achieve a perfect finish.
