MES is looking for a service technician to travel to various Fire Departments in the region to perform testing and maintenance on Rescue Tools, Hydraulic Rescue Tools, etc. This is a full-time position with full benefits and the potential to earn significant commissions.
Requirements
- Attention to detail is critical, this is life-saving essential equipment for Firefighters
- Work remotely and maintain a valid driver’s license (REAL-ID is required to work in Federal sites)
- Good computer skills are essential
- Service Technicians must be willing to travel and stay overnight at hotels for remote or large jobs
- Be mechanically inclined
- Ability to lift items, packages, and containers weighing up to 60 lbs.
- Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Candidates must possess a high school diploma/GED
- Previous experience servicing and small engine repair, firefighting equipment, work as a mechanic, or previous experience with hydraulics is preferred
