Mechanical Engineer - Nuclear

GIG Nuclear / Generation Industrial & Government. Hybrid working with 3 days in the office and ability to work from home. Travel to plant sites required.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering from an accredited university
• EIT (highly preferred) – or ability to obtain EIT within one year of employment
• Previous design experience related to modifications in nuclear (DOE or commercial) plants
• 4+ years' experience working with multiple operating nuclear clients and vendors
• Ability to obtain unescorted access at an operating or construction nuclear plant
• Basic knowledge of mechanical design codes (ASME, ANSI, API, NFPA)
• Proficient computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite)
