Senior Physical Substation Engineer - Remote Eligible

Mesa Associates Inc. is seeking a Senior Physical Substation Engineer with at least 15 years of experience in substation design and/or QA/QC. The ideal candidate will work remotely and be responsible for senior level substation design engineer tasks.

Requirements

• 15 years of recent and progressively responsible experience performing substation design and/or QA/QC
• Development of general arrangement, equipment plans, elevations, sections, control house layouts, grounding design, conduit and cable design, creation of bills of materials, and cable schedules utilizing Microsoft Office and AutoCAD software
• Perform electrical physical design for substations ranging from 4kV to 500kV
• Interpret and incorporate vendor information into design deliverables
• Properly apply client's substation design standards to the work
• High level understanding of SCE and Industry Standards
• Work on multiple projects concurrently
