The crossing guard assists pedestrian school children to cross to and from school in heavily trafficked areas, using safety training and equipment.
The crossing guard must be punctual and regular in attendance, report absences, and maintain a calm demeanor. They must also be physically fit and able to make instant decisions in critical situations.
