CAD/CAM Programmer

Role Overview

The CAD/CAM Programmer will develop, design, and detail mechanical components, process plans using Auto-CAD, and provide technical guidance to manufacturing and sales departments.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CAD Programmer, preferably in the precision sheet metal industry
• Flat pattern CAD drawing expertise
• Knowledge of design specifications and manufacturing processes
• Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
• Ability to present technical information and have design skills
• Ability to communicate both oral and written effectively with both internal and external customers
• Computer Literacy; Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, and Word) and Auto-CAD
