Safety Coordinator

Role Overview

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for monitoring the working conditions of the entire facility to ensure compliance with local, state and federal safety regulations. The role enforces company health and safety guidelines, inspects workspaces and products, and provides workplace safety training.

What You Will Do

The Safety Coordinator will facilitate compliance with OSH guidelines, implement OSH policies, train employees in safety procedures, inspect working conditions, and direct accident investigation procedures.

Requirements

• Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Occupation Health & Safety, Safety Management or related field
• Previous work experience in the health and safety field
• Management/supervisory experience in a heavy industrial environment
• OSHA 30-hour (or equivalent) safety certification training
• Reliance Reasonable Suspicion Training
