Community Initiatives Intern

The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District is seeking an intern for the Board of Commissioners’ Office. The intern will assist in coordinating projects, conducting research, and providing support for events and office operations. Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with social media platforms and graphic design tools such as Canva
• Ability to interact comfortably and professionally with the public
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google applications
• Passion for environmental protection and familiarity with activism in Chicago and Illinois
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Positive, welcoming attitude and comfort working with diverse groups
