Planner

Role Overview

Miller Fabrication Solutions is seeking a Planner who can effectively and efficiently plan and schedule material for assigned end items and components to satisfy customer requirements, inventory targets, and cost objectives.

What You Will Do

Plan material daily, request purchased material, schedule work orders, and manage daily dispatch lists to ensure each work center has a valid schedule.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or related fields with emphasis on planning and scheduling, and a deep knowledge of bills-of material, routings, work centers, and inventory management.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field, B.S. field preferred
• 5 years related experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or related fields with emphasis on planning and scheduling
• Deep knowledge of bills-of material, routings, work centers, material planning (MRP), scheduling, dispatch lists, capacity management, item master, inventory management, customer orders, purchase orders, work orders, and date management in a manufacturing environment
• APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) and/or ISM certification (CPSM) preferred
