Design Within Reach is looking for a General Manager to lead their Palo Alto studio. The ideal candidate will have retail management experience, demonstrated design skills, and financial literacy. The role involves managing a team, creating floor plans, and building positive working relationships.

Requirements

• Retail management experience preferred
• Demonstrated design skills and a passion for the design profession
• Financial literacy, business acumen, and ability to manage budgetary responsibilities
• Proficiency with MS Office software, web navigation, and 3-D rendering programs
• Able to routinely move objects weighing more than 20 pounds and to understand safety requirements
