Senior Education Advisor

We are seeking a Senior Education Advisor to help shape the future of Education and improve attendance and achievement outcomes in the education system. The role involves working with the education sector to implement government priorities and strategies, and providing implementation support and services to schools, kura and whānau.

Requirements

• Experience in and knowledge of the schooling sector and associated legislation
• Ability to build relationships and influence change to achieve outcomes
• Strong engagement and communication skills
• Ability to work as part of an integrated team delivering services to the education sector
• Full, clean Drivers Licence
• Ability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
• Ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct

Benefits

• Salary range: $85,225 - $103,071 per annum
• 3% kiwi saver
