Senior Development Adviser - Inclusion

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade is seeking a Senior Development Adviser - Inclusion to lead inclusion work across New Zealand’s international development cooperation programme. The role involves building partnerships in the Pacific, providing expert advice, and integrating gender equality, disability, and social inclusion principles across the programme. The position is based in Wellington, NZ, and is a full-time permanent role.

Requirements

• Provide high quality development advice across gender equality and women’s empowerment, disability inclusion, social inclusion, and human rights
• Lead or contribute to the design, implementation, and oversight of development investments
• Contribute analysis on gender equality and women’s empowerment, disability inclusion, social inclusion, and human rights
• Represent MFAT in bilateral, regional, and multilateral engagements
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners
