Senior Engineering Manager - Platform

Role Overview

As the Senior Manager – Platform Engineering, you will lead MiQ’s DevOps, Cloud and Security Engineering teams to build and scale robust, secure and efficient platform capabilities. You will be responsible for driving the engineering strategy that powers MiQ’s applications, ensuring reliability, scalability and resilience across our systems and fostering collaboration between product, data and security teams.

Requirements

• 12+ years of total experience in engineering, with at least 4+ years leading platform, DevOps, or infrastructure teams in a scalable organization
• Deep technical expertise in cloud architecture and cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm, etc.)
• Experience partnering with InfoSec to ensure platform resilience, secure deployments and compliance with global standards (ISO 27001, SOC2)
• Proven track record in managing DevOps, Cloud and Security Engineering functions
• Strong background in CI/CD, monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Sensu etc.) and automation frameworks
• Solid understanding of network, infrastructure, and security principles — including IAM, vulnerability management and compliance frameworks
• Experience designing resilient and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure for large-scale distributed systems
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills with a focus on coaching and team development
• Analytical thinker with a focus on problem-solving, strategic planning and operational excellence
