System Operator - Balancing Authority & Unit Dispatch

As a System Operator- Balancing Authority and Unit Dispatch, you will be responsible for the real-time balance of load and generation in the MISO footprint, and will be part of a close-knit team that impacts over 45 million people.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of related experience in the energy or operations industry.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• A current NERC/RC Certification
• Strong communication skills
• Successful completion of the Unit Dispatch and Balancing Authority Certifications and Board exams
• Experience in one of the following areas: energy industry, balancing authority, generation system dispatch, transmission system operations, merchant operations, generation operational planning, gas operations, engineering or power accounting
