System Verification & Test Engineer

Mist Mobility Integrated Systems Technology is seeking a System Verification & Test Engineer to join their Ottawa based team with regular travel to testing locations in the United States. The ideal candidate will have experience in test, verification, or integration roles and familiarity with embedded systems, laboratory equipment, and software testing.

Requirements

• 3-year college diploma or Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Strong experience in test, verification, or integration roles
• Familiarity with embedded systems, including microcontrollers, sensors, and power systems
• Basic experience with software testing using C/C++, Python, or similar languages
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and data acquisition systems (DAQs)
• Experience with environmental testing such as thermal chambers, vibration tables
• Familiarity with EMI/EMC testing concepts and mitigation
• Understanding of requirements-based verification and test documentation
• Ability to support hands-on field testing and travel as required
