Job Description
MMR is seeking Preconstruction Engineer candidates with a degree in Construction Management or industry related equivalent. The responsibilities would include performing engineered estimates and takeoffs, developing project budgets, and assisting with building work packages.
Requirements
- BS in Construction Management or related field
- 2 years of experience as a Field or Project Engineer in electrical construction (in lieu of a degree)
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawing packages and specifications
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgement
- Basic knowledge in estimating and controls
- Working knowledge of MS Office software
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible, varying hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Regular and reliable attendance at work
