
Job description
Under direct supervision, the Material Handler 1 operates forklifts or other mobile equipment to perform routine moving, staging, loading or unloading of materials, supplies or products within or near plant, yard, warehouse or work site.
Transports raw materials, supplies, products and/or finished goods to and from storage or production lines and places them in designated area, Actively participates in continuous improvement and corrective action activities, Completes all necessary paperwork and transactions, including scanning requirements, Perform housekeeping, 5-S, and other duties as assigned.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, or attain ACT WorkKeys Assessment at certified job profile skill level, 3+ months of experience operating mobile equipment in a manufacturing or shipping environment, Mobile equipment certification, Basic computer skills, Time Management, Detail Oriented, Good communication skills, Mobile equipment operations skills.
