
Job description
Under general supervision, the Material Handler fulfills several different material handler roles to help move and load products safely and on time, while supporting operations as needed. Position placement is determined based on the needs of the business.
Operate exit recoiler controls, packaging equipment, drive a forklift, and crane operation. Verify finished goods are properly identified with an identification ticket prior to moving them to a storage area. Prepare materials to be used for packaging and shipping of finished coils.
Acts as a flexible plant support resource, giving assistance in various areas of the plant. Communicates daily with internal personnel to help resolve problems and achieve company goals.
