Job Description
MongoDB is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Networking & Observability team, focused on building and enhancing components for MongoDB's distributed database. The team focuses on improving networking, resource utilization, and observability features, and recently worked on POCs and performance tests for new architectures. The role involves close collaboration with other engineers and a high level of influence over the performance and robustness of the core database.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building distributed systems
- Experience building production-level code with a large user base
- Experience with building low-overhead observability features
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent time management and project management skills
- Good computer networking fundamentals
- High performance / low latency networking
