Job Description
Monogram Health is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to act in an in-house attorney role that will report to the Associate General Counsel | Chief Commercial and Regulatory Counsel of Monogram Health, Inc. The ideal candidate will have previous in-house experience and/or four or more years' experience at a leading corporate law firm. This attorney will be responsible for contracting and transaction initiatives.
Requirements
- J.D. from a recognized university and licensed to practice law
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization
- Strong negotiating skills with both legal and financial/ commercial issues
- Sharp attention to detail
- Managed care experience is preferred, in particular negotiation of value-based care agreements
- General knowledge of healthcare regulatory law, in particular fraud and abuse laws, HIPAA and privacy matters, Medicare Advantage and Medicaid obligations, and corporate practice of medicine
