Staff Applications Engineer

Role Overview

This is a staff level position in application/system engineering. Responsibilities include defining and debugging analog and digital IC products, overseeing, and driving product development, providing technical support for key customers, developing reference circuits, and writing datasheets and application/design notes.

What You Will Do

Work with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing to define and debug analog/digital IC products in DC/DC converters, Core power conversion, and DrMOS applications. Provide application technical support and technical training for key customers and field application engineers.

Why It Might Be a Fit

6+ years of hand-on experience in switch mode power supplies including DC/DC, AC/DC or inverters. Previous experience with low voltage/high current multi-phase buck converter design/test/optimization for CPU/GPU power delivery applications is highly preferred.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hand-on experience in switch mode power supplies including DC/DC, AC/DC or inverters
• Previous experience with low voltage/high current multi-phase buck converter design/test/optimization for CPU/GPU power delivery applications
• Fluent communication skills in English
• Excellent customer communication skills
• Excellent writing and presentation skills
• Self-motivated
• Previous experience in a power supply manufacturer or power management IC company
• MSEE or higher
