Environmental Laboratory Technician I

Role Overview

As an Environmental Laboratory Technician I, you'll assist multiple projects in our Durham, NC lab, interacting with our multi-disciplinary staff, regulatory agencies, and clients. You'll be part of a strong team of committed professionals.

What You Will Do

Prepare supplies for shipping, receive samples, operate GC/MS instrumentation, maintain laboratory areas, and assist with inventorying consumables and chemicals.

Requirements

• Associates degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field
• Prior Laboratory experience preferred but not required
• Knowledge of analytical method, analytical instruments, general lab practices, and lab safety
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Good organizational skills and strong communication skills
