Moody's is seeking an Industry Practice Lead (Subject Matter Expert) Credit & Lending - Banking to serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in credit and lending within the banking sector.
Requirements
- Deep subject matter expertise in credit and lending within the banking sector, gained from experience in GSIB or large financial institution environments
- Strong understanding of credit risk, lending workflows, treasury functions, and associated KPIs and business requirements
- Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor, translating complex data and credit solutions into tangible business value
- Demonstrated experience driving technology and data transformation to enhance automation and operational efficiency
- Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior-level stakeholders
- Strategic and analytical mindset, capable of identifying market trends, regulatory themes, and whitespace opportunities
- Strong collaboration skills across sales, marketing, product management, and solution architecture teams
- Professional resilience and credibility when operating under client and time pressures
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency
- Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use
- 10–15+ years of experience in credit, lending, risk management, consulting, or related banking roles
