Assembly & Test Technician II

Role Overview

Join Moog's Military Aircraft Group as an Assembler Technician II on 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm) in Torrance, CA. You will report to the Assembly and Test Supervisor and work on designing and integrating flight control actuation systems for military aircraft.

What You Will Do

Perform precision assembly on complex production and repair actuators, adjust or align through shimming and other means of mechanical adjustments, and utilize mechanical measuring equipment to obtain proper assembly-build requirements.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 3+ years of assembly experience
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification
• Ability to read blueprints
• Assembly experience in the Aerospace industry
• Experience performing precision assembly and test of hydraulic, mechanical, and electromechanical flight actuators
• Experience with precision measuring equipment such as dial indicators, calipers, and micrometers
• Experience with diagnosing/troubleshooting mechanical components and test failures
• Basic computer program skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Possess or be able to obtain Security Clearance
