Job description
The Senior Design Engineer is responsible for leading the design, development, and continuous improvement of Morbark equipment and systems. This role will lead engineering projects involving steel fabrication, weldments, diesel and gasoline engines, drivetrains, hydraulics, and electronic controls across a broad range of equipment.
Designs, develops, or modifies equipment, analyzes data, leads prototype development, and provides technical support to sales, production, service, operations, and cross-functional teams.
Requires strong engineering expertise, project management capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with manufacturing, operations, sales, and service teams.
