Senior Software Engineer

Morningstar is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its product development team in Mumbai, contributing to the future of digital investor experiences across Australia. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience building outstanding web applications using modern frameworks and tools, and a strong proficiency in Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building outstanding web applications using modern frameworks, tools, and engineering practices.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, with demonstrated experience designing and building robust APIs.
• Expertise with both relational and non-relational databases.
• A passion for creating intuitive, user-focused digital experiences.
• A flexible, adaptive problemsolving mindset.
• A mature, collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
