
Job description
The Material Services Tech 1 is responsible for supporting MPI's lean culture and initiatives, operating forklifts and material handling equipment, and performing cycle counts and inventory movement transactions. They will also manage vendor relationships, utilize purchasing suggestions, and interpret ERP/MRP inputs to create an effective purchasing plan. The role requires a thorough understanding of all parameters that affect inventory accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma with some college or 4-6 years' experience in a related field, and possess above-average attention to detail, organizational skills, and computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office and Epicor. They must also be able to communicate effectively with employees and present themselves well to personnel from all areas and departments.
