
Job description
MPI is a worldwide leader in manufacturing specialized equipment for the investment casting industry. We are looking for a hands-on senior controls engineer to develop, design and collaborate on the creation of control systems for our equipment. This includes leading the team through multiple projects, creating electrical schematics, PLC program logic, developing and modifying controls, and ensuring our equipment is safe, efficient and cutting-edge.
Supports MPI lean culture and initiatives, oversees the completion of an electrical design for a project with limited supervision, provides guidance and direction to other Controls engineers, and performs tasks such as electrical enclosure design support, electrical schematic design, hands-on PLC and HMI programming, and project documentation.
This is a leadership position focused on project management and controls design, with opportunities for career advancement and professional growth in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
