Job description
Join the Industry Solutions Engineering (ISE) team as a Principal Software Engineer, working with high-scale data, building end-to-end engineering deployment systems, and using emerging AI technologies to accelerate developers and solve new challenges. The team operates in small, multidisciplinary teams, enabling tight feedback loops and rapid iteration. Together, you will build AI-powered, cloud-based solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will demonstrate engineering excellence, provide customer technical leadership, provide product roadmap feedback, and apply hands-on technical skills to advance the capabilities of both your own teams and your customers' teams.
This role is a senior individual contributor role on Microsoft's technical leadership career path, combining deep technical skills with the ability to provide leadership at the seniormost levels within Microsoft and at our customers. You will work directly with Dominik Wee, CVP Forward-Deployed Engineering, and have the opportunity to collaborate with Microsoft product teams, partners, and open-source communities.
