Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in accordance with electrical diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and/or manufacturer’s specifications. This includes adhering to safety procedures and/or protocols and established Good Manufacturing Processes to ensure product integrity and customers’ specifications are preserved.

What You Will Do

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, and utilize an electronic CMMS system to document work performed.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial setting, preferably in the food manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical controls, maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and electronic equipment, and basic to intermediate knowledge of PLC troubleshooting.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 2 years of experience in an industrial setting
• Ability to write work orders, parts requests, shift logs, routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and/or sit frequently or through the duration of the shift
• PC or tablet competency, and ability to use handheld devices
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly; and occasionally lift and or move up to 100 pounds with or without assistance
