
Job description
The Robotic Welder is responsible for operating one or more weld machines to fabricate metal parts or assemblies to specifications. Reporting to the Robotic Welding Manager, the role requires basic knowledge of welding theory and production basis.
The main responsibilities include operating weld machines, inspecting and measuring machined work pieces, unloading welded frames, and performing various welding techniques such as MIG and TIG welding.
The ideal candidate should have a successful completion of an internal welding test, previous knowledge of fixtures and weld set up parameters, and basic understanding of computers and ability to perform computer functions.
