Job Description
The Multicultural Learning Center (MLC) is seeking a passionate, dynamic and creative STEM teacher to join our middle school team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in one or more STEM disciplines and possess the skills to inspire and engage young minds in the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Requirements
- Valid California Teaching Credential: Multiple Subject Teaching Credential preferred with math or science authorization, or Single Subject Teaching Credential in Math & Science
- English Learner (EL) Authorization
- Fluency in both English and Spanish and academic level vocabulary and syntax expertise in both languages, preferred
- Growth mindset
- Constructive teaching methodology
- Pedagogy focused on social emotional learning, content integration, student-driven instruction, and project-based learning
- TB Test clearance & DOJ fingerprint clearance
