MSS is a private, nonprofit community program committed to creating customized services and supports for people with disabilities. The Brooklyn Park Center is looking for a person who thrives in a team environment, enjoys providing quality life experiences for people with developmental disabilities, and is dedicated to helping others to identify and reach their life goals.

Requirements

• Provide supervision and training for adults with Autism, developmental disabilities and multiple physical disabilities in all aspects of services in day training and habilitation program
• Implement individualized program plan for persons in assigned group
• Assist persons served with their personal needs as necessary
• Plan activities and supervise individuals and small groups within the center and on community outings
• Assist program participants with developing and using a functional communication system to communicate needs and interact with others
• Utilize technology and adaptive equipment to increase each person’s independent functioning
• Pass medications and drive people to and from the center and community sites
