Demographics Charge Entry Representative

National Partners in Healthcare (NPH) seeks a Demographics Charge Entry Representative to perform data entry of anesthesia demographics and charges into the patient accounting system. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, 2+ years of experience in a healthcare business office, and knowledge of anesthesia billing, CPT, ICD-10, ASA, and HCPCS coding.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of two years' experience in a healthcare business office
• Knowledge of anesthesia billing specialty
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, ASA and HCPCS coding
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Workers Compensation rules and regulations
• Skill in keyboarding/data entry
• Knowledge of organization policies, procedures and systems
• Skill in computer applications including MS Word, MS Excel
• Skill in verbal and written communication
• Skill in gathering and reporting information
• Ability to work effectively with staff, physicians and external customers
