Job Description
NBCUniversal is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to work on rethinking its global edge and campus network infrastructure. The selected candidate will define and implement NBC's NextGen Network and serve as a technical resource for other Operations & Technology teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise implementing, maintaining, and supporting network firewalls, remote access solutions, load balancers, routers, and switches.
- 3+ years of experience in leading network initiatives, identifying, deriving and document network and network security requirements.
- Experience with high-availability network and network security designs and associated protocols; Dual-ISP, first-hop redundancy, geo-diverse failover, cloud regionality/availability zones.
- Advanced Routing and switching experience with BGP, OSPF, ISIS, EVPN-VxLAN, MPLS.
