CAD Designer

NDI Engineering Company is seeking a CAD Designer to support the design of US Navy Test Facilities and other design projects.

Requirements

• 3 to 7 years of professional experience in structural or electrical design
• Experience with designing large scale machinery/equipment within large facilities is strongly preferred
• Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) and drawing development, preferably with AutoCAD
• Capable of developing 2D drawing packages from 3D models is preferred
• 3D design and modeling is required (AutoCad preferred)
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards in their respective discipline
• Must be a US citizen and able to qualify for a DoD Secret clearance
• Have strong verbal and written communications skills
• Candidates with a 'team player' mindset are preferred
