The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing exceptional care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses, performing routine and complex modalities of respiratory care, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.
Requirements
- Associate's of Science Degree with a certificate in Respiratory Care
- 3-6 months of on-the-job experience
- Registered respiratory therapist (R.R.T.) with the National Board of Respiratory Care
- Respiratory Care Practitioner license for work state
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Current American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
