The Director of Human Resources serves as a thought leader providing strategic direction, vision and guidance to managers and leaders to achieve highest efficiency from talent and create an Employer of Choice culture.
Requirements
- Develop and execute human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization
- Provides strategic direction, vision and guidance to the organization’s human resources structure and function
- Primary responsibility for the management, processing of claims and all related activities for the Federal Torts Claims Act (FTCA)
- Acts as the primary contact for the organization in all employee matters involving EEOC complaints and litigation
- Responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies and procedures
- Develops and manages the HR annual budget and performs periodic cost and productivity analyses
- Sets strategic direction for designing, developing, implementing and administering comprehensive total rumeneration systems
- Champion an organizational culture characterized by a strong sense of mission, vision and values
- Provides direction and oversight in the development and implementation of employee relations strategies
- Identifies and implements a comprehensive and multi-dimensional learning management platform
- Develops a comprehensive interdisciplinary training model
- Oversees the Ohio Association of Community Health Centers (OACHC) Ohio Primary Care Workforce Initiative for student externship and mentorship
- Drive higher levels of manager performance and reduce variation in supervisory abilities by designing and implementing leadership training programs
- Identify and implement structured training programs to increase staff awareness of patient population needs and barriers to healthy outcomes
- Maintain a focus on continuous quality improvement with the ongoing evaluation of departmental procedures to streamline and/or automate processes
