Part Time Instructor - Biology

Nevada State University is seeking a part-time instructor in biology to teach in-person courses, including labs. The instructor will work with a diverse student population and have opportunities to develop curriculum. Requirements

• M.S. or terminal degree in biology or a related field
• Evidence of a strong commitment to teaching, educational excellence, and mentoring undergraduate students
• Demonstrated commitment to a diverse, non-traditional, first-generation student population
• Effective interpersonal, communication, and technology skills

Benefits

• Adjunct faculty members are compensated at the rate of $1,000 per credit hour and $2,000 per credit hour for lab courses
