Job Description
New England Biolabs is a biotechnology company seeking a Development Scientist I/II, Automation to design, develop, and maintain laboratory automation workflows for product development activities. The successful candidate will work as a member of the Applications and Product Development Department, responsible for optimizing processes, learning from colleagues, and aligning with other groups and departments to deliver impactful solutions.
Requirements
- PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, or related field with minimum 2 years of experience (or masterâs with 5 years of experience)
- Experience in protocol design, troubleshooting and implementation on various liquid handling platforms
- Working knowledge of LIMS/ELN integration, data pipelines, and experiment tracking systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, self-manage and perform effectively in a fast-paced team
