Job Description
The Affiliate Hitting Coach will execute the Mets' organizational hitting philosophy and implement individualized hitting development plans. They will utilize relevant technology to monitor progress and provide actionable insights, and collaborate with other staff to integrate physical, mental, and skill development.
Requirements
- Experience working with hitters in a professional organization, a collegiate organization, or a facility setting
- Ability to throw batting practice, hit fungoes, and facilitate a baseball practice
- Experience with hitting related technology (Blast, Trackman, HitTrax, Hawk-Eye, Kinatrax, high speed video)
- Strong ability to communicate clearly with players and staff across Player Development
- Spanish fluency OR strong desire to learn and use basic language skills to communicate effectively
