Job Description
The New York Post is seeking a PostScript Editor to oversee editing of the Sunday opinion and ideas section and be at the forefront of shaping books-related content for both the New York Post and California Post.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience editing opinion pieces, columns, and long-form content within a newsroom environment
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in editorial roles, particularly editing both columnists and long-form, multi-source features
- Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines
- An ardent passion for books and a keen understanding of the publishing landscape
- A sharp eye for narrative, logic, and tone — especially attuned to the Post’s unique voice
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, high-paced newsroom environment
- WordPress experience is a plus
